Biophysics is an interdisciplinary science which uses methods and techniques that have their origins in physics and chemistry, and applies these to study the structure, functional properties and behaviour of molecules, cells and organisms in a quantitative manner. This course provides students with a strong, foundational understanding of the concepts that define biological processes at the molecular scale.
