According to some, conflict and violence are inherent to religion, while others claim that religion is only the guise under which social, economic or political conflicts are fought out. This course will equip students with the skills needed to critically analyse the role that religion plays not only in peace and conflict around the world, but to wider issues of social justice and inequalities.
