This course develops advanced capability in robotic localisation and mapping. Students study the full problem of spatial awareness in autonomous systems ¿ from map representation and probabilistic localisation in known environments, through odometry and scan matching, to graph-based SLAM, dense volumetric mapping and the challenges of dynamic and changing environments.
